Canadian Museum of Nature presents CPAWS with the "Nature Inspiration Award"

I’m far too familiar with reading about Earth’s depleting wilderness; however, today the news is cause for celebration, not disappointment! We’re honoured to share that the Canadian Museum of Nature has awarded CPAWS with the "Nature Inspiration Award".

“As Canada's only nationwide charity dedicated solely to the protection of public land, CPAWS has influenced some of the most significant decisions in nature conservation and management of protected areas over the last five decades. Recently, CPAWS's efforts led to the Government of Canada announcing $1.3 billion dollars for conservation in the 2018 Federal Budget: the largest such investment in our nation's history.” - Canadian Museum of Nature

CPAWS is working on conservation projects across the country, and we’re proud to support them through our self imposed 1% For the Planet contribution. Their work is bringing real change to our home: Canada, one of the largest remaining wilderness landscapes in the world.

Thank you, CPAWS.
