  • Nahanni Wilderness Adventures is pleased to offer a comprehensive one-stop self-guided service to meet the needs of the approximately 300 people who organize their own self-guided Nahanni River trip each season. This includes equipment rental, air charters, road shuttles and Bed and Breakfast accommodations, customized trip planning and more! With close to 60 of my own trips down the Nahanni, I feel my experience and competitive rates will provide you with the most value for a self guided trip. To avoid disappointment, I advise that you book your canoe or rafts as early as possible and then complete your booking as the details are firmed up. For further information, please do not hesitate to contact me at my office by calling: 1-888-897-5223 or by email: 1-888-897-5223 or by email: adventures@nahanniwild.com

  • Camping
  • Low Impact Camping: Please note that fire boxes are now required for open fires in NNP-R. A fire box is a collapsible metal box with a grate on top that all fits into a compact case. A fire in this little invention is superior for cooking and requires a fraction of the wood. In environmental terms, a fire box used on sand of stones prevents a fire scar from being formed. The draft created by the box will burn your wood to a fine ash that can then be diluted in the river.
