OVERVIEW
Our Baja Coastal Expeditions are designed as two separate trips that can be combined with a layover in Loreto to complete one of North America's classic sea kayaking journeys. The Mulege to Loreto section is the northern leg of this trip. Between these two old world towns stretches a rugged coast line that abounds with sea and shore life. Beneath the water's surface the shoals and drop offs are alive with colourful tropical fish just waiting for us to explore with mask and fins. Up from the water's edge the highlands are dressed with intriguing desert species such as cardon cacti, elephant trees and palo verde. For the kayaker with a sense of adventure there could be no better place than the warm inviting waters of the Baja peninsula's east side. Our companions will be the sea birds, whales and dolphins.
